1. Who I am

These terms apply to services sold on this website by Tomáš Blažo ("I", "me"), self employed, IČO: [IČO], [address], Czech Republic, email tomas@tomasblazo.com. "You" is the person who orders.

2. What you buy

The programs described on this website: Query Letter and First 15 Pages Review, Written Manuscript Edit, How to Sell Your Book, and, when places are open, The Book Mentorship and The Book Marketing Partnership. The description of a program on this website is the scope of the work. Anything outside it we agree in writing.

3. Order and start

The contract is concluded when your payment is received. I contact you within 24 hours of your order. Before you send me any material, we sign the confidentiality agreement. I start the work when I have your payment, the signed agreement and your material.

4. Delivery

Query Letter and First 15 Pages Review: 7 days. How to Sell Your Book: 10 days. Written Manuscript Edit: the delivery date is agreed with you before you pay, based on your word count. The clock starts when I have your material. If you delay your part, the date moves by the same time.

5. Your part

You send work you have the right to share, in English, as Word or PDF. You answer my questions in a reasonable time. You are responsible for your own decisions about your book.

6. What I do not promise

I do not promise a publishing deal, an agent, sales, reviews or any other result. My work is professional feedback, analysis and writing. What you do with it is up to you.

7. The yearly programs

The Book Mentorship and The Book Marketing Partnership run for 12 months from the start date we agree. Places are limited because I do the work myself. Contact happens as agreed with you: weekly chat as needed, by call, video or in person. You can pay in 2 parts: the first part to start, the second part within 60 days. If the second part is not paid on time, I may pause the work until it is paid.

8. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros. If you pay in USD, the price is converted at the current exchange rate, so the amount in dollars may differ slightly. Payments are processed by a third party payment provider. [VAT: state here whether you are a VAT payer.]

9. Money back guarantee

You are covered by a 100% money back guarantee for 30 days. The details are in the Refund Policy below.

10. Your work and my work

Your manuscript, your ideas and your book stay yours. I get no rights to them. Texts I write for you, such as a synopsis or a book description, you may use freely once you have paid in full.

11. How I work

I do the work myself. I do not put your manuscript or materials into AI tools. Confidentiality is covered in its own section below.

12. Liability

As far as the law allows, my liability for any claim connected with a program is limited to the amount you paid for that program. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not reduce your rights as a consumer.

13. If I cannot deliver

If I cannot deliver a program, I refund the part I did not deliver.

14. Complaints and disputes

Write to tomas@tomasblazo.com and I will answer as soon as I can, normally within 14 days. These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protection of the country where you live. If we cannot settle a dispute, a consumer in the Czech Republic or the EU may use the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, www.coi.cz) as an out of court body.

15. Changes

The terms in force on the day of your order apply to that order.

100% money back, 30 days

If you are not happy with a program, write to tomas@tomasblazo.com within 30 days of your order and I refund the full amount you paid. You do not have to explain, although I always want to know what went wrong.

How the refund works

• I refund to the payment method you used, within 14 days of your request.
• If you paid in USD, your bank or card provider may show a slightly different amount because of exchange rates.
• For programs paid in 2 parts, I refund everything paid so far and the remaining part is cancelled.
• After a refund I stop the work and delete your materials.

After 30 days

After 30 days a refund is not available, unless I fail to deliver what I promised or the law requires otherwise.

Your legal rights

This guarantee is on top of your rights by law. It does not reduce them.

Every program includes a confidentiality agreement automatically. We sign it at the start, before you send me anything.

• I tell nobody anything about your book, your plans or your ideas.
• I do not say that you are my client without your written permission.
• I use your material only to do your work. I do not share it, publish it or put it into AI tools.
• I store your files securely. I keep them only as long as needed to deliver the work and answer your follow up questions, and I delete them earlier if you ask.
• The only exception is a disclosure required by law or by a court. If the law allows it, I tell you first.

The obligation continues after the work is finished.

What I collect and why

• Name, email and message you send through the contact form, to answer you.
• Your email if you join a waitlist, to tell you when a place opens. You agree to this by joining, and you can withdraw at any time.
• Order details from the payment provider, to deliver your order and keep the accounts the law requires. I do not see your full card number.
• The manuscripts and material you send me, to do the work you ordered.

How long I keep it

Waitlist emails until a place opens or you ask me to remove you. Accounting records as long as Czech law requires. Your manuscripts as described under Confidentiality. Other messages only as long as needed.

Who else sees it

Only the providers needed to run this: the payment provider, the form and email provider, the website host and my accountant. I do not sell your data. Some providers may process data outside the EU under standard legal safeguards.

Cookies and fonts

This website does not use cookies or tracking tools. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers to get them.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy, or object to its use. Write to tomas@tomasblazo.com. You can also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, www.uoou.gov.cz).
